After Your Massage
Although you may wish it would never end, the massage must eventually be over. You will feel relaxed, yet refreshed. Don't be tempted to do too much--no running marathons or whatever it is you want to do that will undo the cleansing and healing effects your body is now experiencing and which will continue overnight. Eat lightly, drink extra water, and rest more than usual the rest of the day and evening. Your body will continue to experience the healing effects of massage if you don't interfere with the process.
Massage once a week would be a wonderful part of a healthy lifestyle, but if that is not possible due to your schedule and your finances, even once or twice a month will be beneficial. The longer you wait between appointments, the harder it is to work toward your goals of fitness, health, and relaxation. I generally recommend every two weeks, but it's up to you. Just call me when you're ready.
